Drone Photography on Winding Stair Gap

We had a cold snap here for a few days, which is typical for March & April, although seeing snow this far south in the middle of April is a bit uncommon. At lower elevations the snow didn’t stick but going up it made a for a good opportunity to take the drone out. I took the drone first out to Lake Chatuge in Hayesville, NC then got back in the car and used the 2nd battery I had charged to get some pictures going up the mountain near Winding Stair Gap.

I must be a bit picky about photos because I took a good 50 photos but I only processed 3 of them. I did find myself getting a little artistic with the photos this time. I usually am one to try to stay within the confines of what I feel is realistic to what I saw, this time I got a bit bold with the HDR and color saturation.
